We welcome you to “Manastirska Magernitsa” – an old historical house and currently a home of Bulgarian traditions and good taste.
This magical building belonged to the first Bulgarian literary critic, after the liberation of Bulgaria – Professor Krastyo Krastev.
More than a hundred years ago, the professor talked here together with the great Pencho Slaveykov, Peyo Yavorov, Petko Todorov and Todor Vlaikov.
Together with these Bulgarian writers – like-minded people, Prof. Krastev created the first literary club and magazine “Misl”.
Gathering at the table under the dogwood in our yard, preserved to this day, the work of these legendary writers leaves a significant mark in Bulgarian history.
